Johnny Connolly - Drioball na Fainleoige
…each note is in place and spun with the hand of a weaver…This is music that’s a way of life… delicate and precise, with bags of lift and without the over-ornamentation of some players with bigger boxes. -- The Living Tradition Button Accordion

Seán
O'Driscoll & Larry Egan - The
Kitchen Recordings
This CD features Seán O'Driscoll on banjo and Larry Egan on button accordion. The title "reflects what we have: the old tunes, admirably cranked out by two competent players who know their way up and down and over the back of their instruments, playing as for a group of friends squeezed into a small, cozy and sociable space. There are no fancy studio tricks here, just a well-chosen and well-balanced selection of jigs, reels and hornpipes, and one slow air; Irish music as it is meant to be." -- Green Man Review Button Accordion

Colm Gannon - Return to Droim
Colm was born in Boston of Connemara parents, and has now returned to live at home. He learned to play the accordion from his father and added to his knowledge from the music of Boston’s Irish community. He has played with the best players in Ireland since coming home, and his debut CD is a credit to him. Accompanied by John Blake, he is joined on some tracks by Jesse Smith and John Carty. This is mature, melodic music that is well worth listening to. --Claddagh Button Accordion

John O'Halloran- But Why, Johnny?
A fun album from John O'Halloran, originally from the island of Inishbofin and now a regular of the Galway session scene. He plays the one-row melodeon with great lift and humor. He is surrounded by a host of talented musicians who bring a great variety to the tracks. Button Accordion

Pádraig
Rynne - Bye A While
This is top class music. Pádraig is a young concertina player from County Clare, but he’s a vastly experienced one. He has gathered a group of similarly experienced friends to make a recording of mostly Irish music, with a sprinkling of Breton and Galician. The friends include Arty McGlynn, Mirella Murray, Johnjo Kelly, John McSherry and Donal O’Connor, so you can see the respect with which Padraig is regarded. -- Claddagh Anglo Concertina

Slide-Harmonic Motion
This is Slide’s second album. The album quickly moves through a variety of clever arrangements from sensitive whistle harmonies to driving, high powered strings while the lyrical quality of the songs encapsulate a modern approach to song writing within the folk/traditional genre. --Claddagh Records Anglo Concertina
