It offers a mixture of traditional tunes and some of his own compositions including two waltzes, a lament, a set of polkas and a lullaby in honor of his nephew Joshua who lends his name to the album title. Johnny “g is joined by his father, the legendary melodeon player Johnny Connolly on two of the tracks and accompaniment is provided by some of Ireland's finest musicians.
