Jeffries Ab/Eb

Ab/Eb, kept in original old pitch and original Jeffries temperment. 31 keys, including thumb Ab drone on left side, bird whistle and baby cry (see chart). Rosewood ends, bone buttons, original steel reeds in brass frames, original riveted action. Fully reconditioned with new pads, valves, springs, straps, plus a new, 6-fold Dipper bellows in green leather, with Jeffries tooling and decorative papers. Includes fitted, custom-made case by Greg Jowaisas. A very striking instrument to look at, it's even more stunning when you hear it - powerful, open sound, without being harsh. This is a very rare concertina.
